Krisis Otoritas Alkitab dalam Fragmentasi Paradigma Teologi Modern dan Implikasinya bagi Epistemologi Pendidikan Agama Kristen: Analisis Historis-Epistemologis dan Formulasi Model Wahyu Kristosentris

Abstract

The crisis of biblical authority within the fragmentation of modern theological paradigms has generated significant epistemological tensions in Christian theology and Christian Religious Education. Hermeneutical relativism, reductive historical criticism, and postmodern influences have weakened the normative claim of Scripture as the primary source of theological knowledge. This study aims to analyze historically and epistemologically the dynamics of this crisis, while proposing a Christocentric Revelation Model as a theological framework that restores biblical authority without falling into textual fundamentalism or modern skepticism. The research employs a qualitative approach through historical-epistemological analysis of modern and contemporary theological literature, as well as conceptual reflection on revelation, Christology, and the authority of Scripture. The findings indicate that the fragmentation of modern theological paradigms has contributed to a shift in authority from divine revelation toward rational construction and subjective experience. The Christocentric Revelation Model offers an epistemological framework that positions Christ as the center of divine revelation and Scripture as the normative canonical witness shaping faith, doctrine, and Christian educational praxis. This study concludes that a Christocentric recovery of biblical authority provides a robust epistemological foundation for Christian Religious Education, enabling the formation of reflective, responsible, and contextually relevant faith while remaining faithful to God’s revelation.
